IQL so far has landscaped really well. A great selection of plants which has brought real character to the area. The more this can be continued and increased throughout the rest of IQL the better.

"ensure the surrounding parklands of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park are brought into the development". The main problem is the site is isolated - railway lines on one side and fast roads on the other - neither of which are pedestrian friendly. Landscaping will not resolve this.

The sandstone does not match with the deep blue shade of the buildings. Topography idea is great to provide coverage from high wind that is constant throughout the year. I don't agree with the pop of colour idea as this clashes with the neutral earthern tones suggested! Two ideas - bold and modern, or neutral and calming. We should pick only one. Example: colourful common space area behind Glasshouse Gardens - this does not match the modern and neutral look of the buildings themselves. Very confusing and it looks like the designers didn't speak with each other.
