Actually I like what is proposed here - no traffic as far as I can tell. As before naturalistic planting - not local authority planting.

A foot path next to a railway line? "The pathway will provide unobscured views of Stratford Waterfront" - but having seen the plans most buildings will be facing the opposite direction with their backs to the railway lines - you may be able to view the arrival of delivery vans. "calmer public route than the bustling streets of Drewry & Redman Place" - I think many people would feel safer in bustling streets - which will never reach the levels of central London anyway.
